Kielder 4x4 safari with photos
Just done the 4x4 safari on Sunday gone
Met hairy Dave of this site nice fellow
The safari cost £60 per car and includes a breakfast
I've got to say it's worth every penny had a great day out and got home knackered you do a bit hill climbing and downhill you go along Greenland going right around the reservoir thro different terrain some water slashes some mud some sand some rocks nothing too severe but gets low ratio working all in all a great day out cheers to Northumberland mountain rescue problems with the disco now got a defiant exhaust blow frontdown pipe I hope
Kept going into suspension fault when in off-road high setting think it may be the compressor starting to go as it was fine in normal mode and it reset when turned off and on again going to read the codes and check the exhaust at the weekend

With the routes we use at the moment steps on a D3/4 should be fine as there is nothing too tricky Cheers Ian

The Mini got on surprisingly well, they have lots of underbody protection although ground clearance was the main problem, on the same section as the D5 photo above he came down with the wheels off the ground sliding on its belly plate Cheers Ian
