Hi

Help -Is there anybody in the North Wales area that can program a new smart key for me. Landrover tell me that I will need to by a new control unit aswell but have been told that possibly other programming units may be able to do the job.

If it's had the security recall, then yes, it will need an additional ecu.
There was a recent lr bulletin update for the addition of keys. They've introduced a new step it seems (if it's had the security update) Bodsys Brake Bible
