Just washed, minging!!
I decided to wash my D3 after all that winter muck + grime and snow this week. I only used a sponge, bucket and hosepipe but the amount of crud covering the car was incredible, it was absolutely minging. I try to wash it once a week but did miss last weekend due to the low temps and weather warnings.
I know some people don't bother washing but I've always tried to keep my D3 clean but it's a nightmare when the winter weather sets in.
Begs the question, do you weekly wash or not bother from one month to the next?

In theory, I'd like to wash my car weekly. The reality is that it gets washed when I get time, which seems to be about once a month, or 6 weekly. Richard

Gets a fortnightly wash and polish sometimes tho hes rumanian MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
MY10 HSE D4 auto
MY14 XXV more buttons than the spaceshuttle
About once every 6-8 weeks, although lights and plates get done every couple of days through the winter.
Mrs Do$h is allergic to getting it cleaned; it shows up all the scratches where it regularly gets hedge-swiped while avoiding old biddies in Micras hogging the road and ignoring the passing places.
I've had words about what this behaviour will lead to if she does it in the new car when it arrives.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Up here, what I’ve done is washed the car, waxed it good, put silicone on the rubbery parts around the doors/tailgate, etc. when the first “below 0” morning comes along late October or early November. Next wash - really - is sometime March when temperatures are again above freezing. Melting snow on the vehicle takes away some of the grime during the cold months but underneath it’s impossible to clean.
While not exactly ideal, it is pretty much the only way of doing it unless one wants one or more doors frozen to the body. It’s different if one has a warm garage to let the car dry, unfortunately I don’t.

Don’t use a sponge get a nice lambs wool mitt, or a synthetic mitt, a sponge collects loads of grit and finely marrs and scratches your paintwork to the death.

I tend to pay more attention and clean more thoroughly as they get older. Probably the other way around for most people.
But when they’re newish a wash every few weeks seems sufficient, but as they age more vigorous maintenance is required.
I’ve owned many RR’s and Discovery’s over the years that have been over 7 years old when I’ve sold them on and everyone of them has had excellent paintwork, even if I do say so myself
You’ll be amazed how much a bit of diy bodywork maintenance can bring back ‘the showroom shine’Discovery 4 HSE

3 times a year - once in January pre-MOT, once when the salt spreaders have gone away for good, and once in autumn pre-service. It gets dirty again almost immediately so I just don't bother.

I try to wash the cars once a week, especially the underside and arches at this time of year. But not managed this last couple of weeks so everything is covered in mud and salt!
