I was surprised a search didn't bring up this information on here already... Has nobody ever asked this question?
I have an XS with factory fit PTI, but no voice control button. Can I fit a voice control button, and will it all just work? I do have the voice settings similar to this:
Although I don't have the language option (presumably, only people with HSEs need to speak to their car in French).

That's where the pic came from - I did see that post. But correct me if I'm wrong, that's retrofitting PTI, microphone and button, and modifying the ccf to enable voice?
It looks like mine already has voice enabled, and I already have PTI and microphone. Does this mean that if I stick a new button pack on the steering wheel, voice control will work?

No i already had a aftermarket phone kit ( changed later for the PTI one )
check for your mic ...you should have one already , you would just need the voice switch . The ccf file will be switched to just the phone ( more than likely) I can switch it over to the rest of the car if its not alreadyG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Like i said , check the mic is there first
You will only need a button , and at worse the ccf enabling .( thats if the mics there !!)
I had the same problem the other day in some ones car ...no voice button . How can LR sell you a phone kit without voice ...i would take it in and show them the voice add name screen ...then ask them to show you how it works . When they cant, ask them for the rest of the kit whats missingG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
