Just had a remap, what can I expect?

Hi all,
I've just taken the plunge and bought a BAS remap for my 2009 HSE, I have installed it is evening without a hitch but the Jacobs Creek Shiraz means I can't play till tomorrow. I was wondering what to expect and how near to a 3.0 it will be, I know a lot of you have had it done and it was that, that swayed me........

Have to say BAS service is first class, Pete took my money really quickly Very Happy

A big grin. Thing to do is knock it into sport mode and then command shift up at 2800-3000 for max acceleration. Just booting in auto will be damn quick, but not as quick as you'll rapidly see 3800rpm upshifts.

If you ease up, an extra 2 mpg isn't unheard of.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Yes it is that good I have had mine now for ten months and it still puts a big grin on my face when I boot it, and as Nodo$h as stated you get better fuel consumption when driving sensibly, mine went up by 4 mpg not a great amount but on a long distance run it mounts up.

In short it transform the car....

Flack Thumbs Up
