Hi
Just found this site & joined after looking for anything D3 related on the internet having yesterday ordered our first D3. It is a new 56 SE in Zermat Silver, with a few extras, looking forward to reading the feedback here but will try to avoid any negative stuff for now!!!

Mine is two years old next month, and has almost 60k on the clock, and I'm still grinning like a Cheshire cat
Its not been fault free, but it is such a good all round car that I cannot honestly think of another car I would rather have for everyday use.
Enjoy.

If only the wife (my ball and chain that is) was as reliable as my disco3 ....... well I guess we can all dream...
Anyways.. Welcome Greenies...

congratulations greenies,
I ordered my TDV6 HSE in March and took delivery in July. As you have, I read all the bad stuff and did have second thoughts. Hence my name "worryinglyexcited"!!. However, I've done nearly 10K miles and not a single problem worth worrying about. I had the tweeter speaker on the passengers door that needed a clip that was missing but the dealer sorted it while I waited. I do however find the mirrors dont always go back to there position after dipping in revearse. But a press of the seat memory button sorts that.
This is the best car I have had. My previous car was a merc 320 cdi estate. Great car but a bit boring.
Enjoy !!

Fixed by an update in the enhancement programme so if you give your stealer another call and get it booked in you will have the perfect D3 2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver

Outstanding move Greenies, we (Mrs L & I) have run 2 D3s since Apr 06 & have had no real problems. I had my seats all replaced on my HSE (dye came out of seat cover & stained), squeeky wipers (fixed by new blades) & a rattle at full lock (loose heat shield). That is it! All sorted quickly & efficiently by dealer. After 11k miles between 2 cars, they get better every day & won't be changing them for a long time.

Yes
Do what I did & arrange for a free re-map as soon as you get the vehicle back from the dealers. It feels dangerously sluggish without the T/C.
