Very nice and also very jealous The more I see Nara Bronze the more I like it, my D4 HSE in Baltic Blue was originally due on the 20th May but had an email from the dealer saying I may get it at the end of April

Hi lads, due to get my XS, Santorini Black, almond and arabica interior reversing camera, matts, full size spare (fitting running boards and dog guard when I get it)on Monday 21 March (might be a a day late or so due to forgetting to get the cherished plate info to the dealer) ordered it in 29 January and the time has just dragged in. Its down to less than a week now and its not coming quick enough. I needed to share that

Hi mate, you've lost me on the winch...
Seem quite out of sorts here, doesnt seem to be a lot of black D4's ordered or been ordered, is it just not that liked and has the perception of drug dealery.. .. Dont really care I like it and never had a black car so thought what the hell with this D4

you'll love the D4HSE - its a much better ride and environment that the D3, almost FFRR environment - but i still drive my D3 as I love that too.
there are some niggly things to get used to, like having to keep toggling between the radio station display and the satnav.. and I keep losing my keys in the car
but apart from that - its perfectDuncan

you cant lock the car with the key in it !!
Well you cant in mine. if the key is in the car and you try and lock it, eith by pressing the button on the door handle or with a seperate key - it just beeps twice and remains unlocked.Duncan

Thanks everyone.
@ronp - enjoy your new D4 as well, had a look at the Fuji Landmark D4 whilst at the dealers - looked very nice.
@Russell/DiscoDunc
The keyless entry system will take a bit of getting used to - especially as the locking mechanism works the oposite way round to the D3 regarding the deadlocks.
The dealer told me about a chap who brought his D4 back because it wouldnt lock - aparently he parked it up in town but kept going back to it and trying the door handle - every time it opened 1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

....but it has been known to lock if you leave the keys in the boot of a D4 and press the button on the door handle very embarrassing (so i'm told) don't try this at home...Prince Harry's D3: G4 factory equipped D3 - expo rack, winch, roof lights, ladder, active locking rear diff, RAI, Melville & Moon seat covers, General Grabber ATs/ Goodyear Duratrac
