Ok, update time....
Bluetooth connectivity sorted out - I reset everything in the NAV etc and its now conncted up and working fine. Address book etc all showing. I now know you cant play music through the bluetooth on a MY11.
I also have my iPhone 5s working via the proper LR cable (Part number LR031492) connected up to a genuine Apple Lightning to 30-pin adapter. All controllable via the steering wheel and screen.
