We have just been given a build date of 2nd April for our Discovery HSE in Corris Grey with Ivory and Black interior and I can't wait.
We should have it a couple of weeks after that.

When did you do the order?
I ordered a HSE in November and still waiting for date.
Getting well fed up with LR sending stock to China Still lurking, although moved to the dark side: disco5.co.uk

In this instance, probably better to get it built then than the previous day  Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

Ordered it on 6th February through Select Autos and it's coming from a Main dealer that I use who services our RRS.

Phew, didn't think about that. At least it's the 2nd and factory finished on the 8th.

I assume Select Autos are a discount provider, the dealer they order your car from has to give them a grater discount than they give you. Therefor the LR dealer only adds your car to his order queue, when he does not have a customer for one of his slots.
I ordered on 7th Nov with a buil date of 14 Feb given that day. It has all worked as said on the 7th nov. car arrived at the dealer on 18th February. Collecting Mar 1.
I had a factory visit last week, cars and provided equally to all markets, it takes 3x 24 hours to go from panel pressing to driving off the line. One car every 1 minute 30 seconds 24 hours a day.
If you get the chance to go to Solihull take it, definatelyworththe visit, and you Dover all the facts. Rodey L

Seems the perfect way to go. We are getting 8% discount which in my experience is much better than going to the dealer direct.
I think you are spot on regarding the need to fill in the customer slots. I was surprised to learn that ours is still spec changeable until 6th March........would prefer it locked down now to stop me adding any extra bits.
I certainly like the idea of a factory visit, sounds like great fun and if it's anything like the Mini factory visit then it's a great day out.

I ordered mine december 30th, and I just got a call from the dealer that the car has arrived.
Now I'm just waiting for the papers.
