Just 2 New Tyres
I have had a set of General Grabber AT 3's on my D4 now for 12 months and 25k - one of them is really badly scrubbed so I am looking at replacing two, scrapping the really bad one and keeping the other as a spare.
Some say new tyres on the back, others on the front... Whats the best option with the D4?2010 Disco 4 HSE

I've always gone with new on the back, because understeer is easier to control than oversteer.MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

Best new on the back is the “official” line.
Though in my 12 years of running my D3s & one D4 I never really worried about it. I ran some weird & wonderful combos and survived.

Have you checked to see why the one tyre is scrubbing out?

Its going to JAS next week for new lower arms and full alignment...
I hate to admit it , but when i had the 4 new tyres fitted last April to try and look after the tyres and as I didnt have time I asked them to check the alignment and they said it was well out - now that should have rung alarm bells as the old tyres had perfect wear. So I think they have just messed up the alignment.2010 Disco 4 HSE
