I dont get it...that looks like a land rover too...i bet they didnt know they could keep their car cool for 20 minutes continuous...then if i leave my dog in the car and its even remotely warm i leave the park cooling on, which works just as well as park heat in the winter...i ran it for me yesterday and its brilliant

Here's a question that I don't know the answer to:

What if I were faced with a locked car, on a hot day, in direct sunlight, with a deeply distressed child or dog inside; would I wait for a completely unknown length of time for the police to turn up (and risk a life), or would I rescue him or her straight away and then deal with the consequences later?

What if the police were too busy to attend within a critical time?

What would you do?

Curiously, they appear to using two photos of two completely different cars. One of them's an Evoque though.

Think the top pic is showing the dog rescue , second pic baby rescue

I’d also make the dog owners pay for the bill for the fire bridges attending

a few years ago I went to CostCo and the security staff were troubled by a dog left to roast in a car ... day was scorching hot, windows were closed. i told them i had a quick shop to do and i'd be 10 mins at most and if situation was same, they should perhaps go on their tea break at that time. Owner apparently came back at about the 5 minute mark, otherwise I'd have possibly had a sore elbow. I'm sure you can join the dots.

Last year, car-park at Bent's Garden Centre ... window was open about 2 inches but dog was clearly in distress. Suddenly ... door was open. To be fair, others had attempted it but it was a distressed dog with sharp teeth so i can understand why they bottled it.
