| Judder/Vibration at over 110kph |

Howdy,
My D3 has developed a fairly severe judder/vibration as soon as the speed goes above 110kph and gets progressively worse as speed increases. It doesn't feel like its coming through the steering and it is not gearbox(manual) either.
Any ideas?

IT'S MORE ssshhh calma calma It's more serious than them bloody harmonic dampeners
Gets worse as the speed increases so most probably wheel / tyre / drive train related.

Are you sure the tyres are balanced? If they are, have you been playing in the mud recently?
I had the inside of my wheels caked in sticky mud after last weekend and although I had jet washed them and the outsides were clean I didn't spot that the insides (and behind the spokes) had a load of mud stuck to them....
I've never had so much trouble to clean mud from a car before....it was like glue.
When I got up to 110+km/h the whole car started shaking but it was much more apparent through the steering wheel.
Bear in mind that normally when a wheel goes slightly out of balance you can notice it lightly as a vibration....in my case there was so many lumps of mud stuck to them that it the whole steering wheel was shaking....

Yep, try knocking out the badgers and ramblers boots from your rims 
At those speeds, it won't take much mud to cause a wobble. If you can't feel it through the steering wheel then it's probably the back wheels so that should speed the search.
Much less likely issue : A problem I had once with an internally failed tyre. It looked fine, inside and out but it obviously had a failure in the bands that meant there was a relative soft/hard spot. That wheel was easy to balance on the machine as usual, but caused an evil shimmy in the car above 100kph. Only replacing the tyre cured it. Dr. Ian Malcolm:

I recently had a puncture on the rear wheel. It was repaired and balanced but there must be more internal damage than they though.
