Mines same mileage
Must admit have been trying to put all small less than 15 mile round trips on wifes car and this has helped, but usually the cold this time of year sees a 10 percent reduction in fuel economy not 20 percent plus improvement.

It is nice when this happens, mine did it a couple of weeks ago whilst on holiday, but don't worry some one will be along soon and tell you your wrong and the mpg is under 30, even though you've done the math.

For years, Discovery owners have been reporting that the on-board computer reports mpg as approx 3 mpg higher than actual. By now, if this was a manufacturing error, LR would have fixed it but I can only assume this is a cynical move by LR to lull less savvy owners who don't drop into the forum into thinking the vehicle is performing close(er) to the advertised mpg. Surely this constitutes some form of misrepresentation.
Any legal beagles on here know whether there is any legal recourse that would make LR re-calibrate the on-board computers??

My D3 is averaging 30mpg at the moment with 140 000 on the clock. Wife uses it daily for her 35mile work trip. 450mile to a £90 tank. Not bad I thought

Managed 30.6 fully loaded with ladders after two fills of BP Ultimate. Tried V-power, but only gave me 28.9 for the same setup/run.
Not sure why as thought they were pretty much on par?
