Hi cdsymons,
I bought these two months ago but didn't mount them already...
We have been flooded with snow for the last weeks and as I have 265/70R17 BFG tires, the suspension has already been "adapted".
So I wonder if the "two" lifts won't be too much.
Anyway, the stainless rods seem to be a high quality product but I found them quite expensive (95 euros).
A friend of mine has been using the "cut/paste rods" for years without any problem and it costs only a few euros.
Finally, I don't know if I will ever mount mine...
Sincerely,
Paul.

So you run these all the time? I´ve got at set on my desk and wondering if I should mount them. No clearance issue but I want the "looks" with my BGF 265/65R18 AT´s
Just wondering?
1. Done a new aligment?
2. If running them all the time, how does the car handle in 100kmh/60mph speeds when lifted?
3. Any issues with joints etc?

Only use 'em when I'm going "off-road" ... put the standard rods back on for day to day use ... still got to use low car parks occasionally so I need the access mode.
Easy to fit on the side of the road - takes about 20 secs once you have done it a few times.

So do they just fool the air suspension so it rides higher then? Have you still got the off-road height and extended modes available as I would have thought you are getting near the max travel of the air spring and thus risking damage in extended/super extended modes, must also make the driveshaft/CV angles a bit extreme 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
