Jet Boil Possible Group Buy - Register interest
Hi everyone,
I know the Jetboil stove is pretty popular in Disco3 land. I can supply them at £60 + postage or courier network, which is £10 cheaper than they retail at.
I would need a at least 10 people to sign up to get that price. Can you let me know if you're interested. This price makes me no money whatsoever, so do feel free to donate to the site.
Mods is that ok? This is not a commerical posting just offering members the option to buy something at cost. If you do want to paypal me the money then that's fine but you'll need to pay the paypal charges. I am happy to accept cash, cheque or bank transfer if that helps.
I've added a poll so it's easy to see how many people have said they want one, but can you please add a post as well confirming, so that I know who to contact.
Thanks

Oh ok cool, no drama to me, I have an account with Cotswold Outdoor and that was the price they quoted me for 10 so I thought I'd offer it out to everyone else. Personally I use MSR stoves, but I know the jetboils are very popular with people on here.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Stu - sorry if I on your parade. Cotswold are always the most expensive, which is why they can offer 20% to NHS and just about everyone else who has an excuse "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

If it's of interest to you chaps, I have an account with the UK wholesalers of Jetboil, I'm not trying to drum up business or anything - am just a D3 owner who reads this site occasionally, I will have to confirm later on but may be able to get them to your door for about £45 each. Ditto other items like Petzle headlamps, Ortlieb bags etc. If I can be of any help let me know, like wise if I've gone about this the wrong way !

OK I'll double check on how many I've got and I know for sure that the price went up recently, they normally cost £2.70 to post but I may with some smoke and mirrors be able to get them shipped direct from the warehouse.

Right, I have firmed up the pricing and if someone is willing to put their hand up as recipient for 10 Jetboils the current best price I can give until the vat rates go up again is £48.00 that is for 10 Jetboils delivered to 1 address in bulk, that would be a shipment of all camo or one colour, or I could get so many of each.

I assume that is what you actually meant! Although if they are £4.80 each put me down for 20, ebay here i come I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
