Jeckyll and Hyde car!

Don't really know whether I am being paranoid or not!
When I start the disco first thing in the morning from cold, it runs like a dream! Responsive to the throttle, changes gear brilliantly and feels damned quick!
Once it's warmed up, it changes it's character and the engine feels almost strangled! Don't know how to describe it really, but it seems sluggish, and never seems in the correct gear!there seems to be more engine noise than progress if you know what I mean!

Hmm. Can't say what's up but if it's really like that then something is definitely wrong. Edit...Wonder if it's the EGR valves - lots of D3 had probs there but not heard of D4 issues.

I find my engine definitely gets smoother after a few mins and the gear change also get smoother though even then it's not what I'd ever describe as poor/unpleasant from cold, just not smoooooooth.

Ok - I wonder, is there anybody near wolverhampon who has a d4 and would be prepared to have a drive of mine for a second opinion, or let me have a drive of theirs, just to see if it behaves differently to mine.
