Well the INsurance Cover note has arrived... and I have to wait nearly 36 hours..... can't cope.....

I had a call 1st thing Christmas Eve 2004 to say my D3 was ready and if I wanted it that day I could have it
Handily the NFU office is at the end of the road the dealer is on... and they closed at 12 for Christmas...
So I dropped the turkey, emptied out current car, drove to the dealer to get the reg number, headed to the NFU, got cover note, returned to dealer and went through hand over process.
Only to find the reg number had changed !!! DAMN
Called NFU and they happily re-did cover note at 11:50am
So, back to NFU, grabbed cover note and slugged a glass of sherry and scoffed a mince pie (very quickly).
Returned to dealer all extremely happy !!
Drive home in a new D3 Christmas Eve... only to stare at it for a number of hours, refuse drinks in order to go have a play after lunch.
Not stopped smiling since

Hi Simon.....
I almost feel the same way, I've even thought about inventing a meeting I must goto on Tuesday so that I can phone up in the morning and say.... sorry can we please move it forward to today... the 'lady' should of arrived on Friday..... resisted visiting the dealership over the weekend.
Just can't wait - it my first real 'expensive' car and I've worked B;**dy hard to get it so even more excited - I haven't told anyone other than wife (and this public forum ) just in case there is a problem and I don't get it on Tuesday... sad I know!
