Is this a sign of EPB about to fail ? |
|
I've noticed a couple of times in the last fortnight that when I've pulled the handbrake switch on a hill then let pressure off the footbrake, the car rolls forward a bit before the EPB stops it.
doesn't seem to be every time as I tried to replicate it and it didn't happen.
any thoughts? .

It probably just wants cleaning and readjusting.
If it fails or starts to scream it becomes an absolute nightmare once it jams on, do not go there. Mods:

Just cost me £1100 to have the module replaced, failed with no warning - get it checked out would be my advice. Jaguar Land Rover: "Building great cars, badly."
