Ticking over for 30mins or more , would it not be at operating temp there then Temperature needle certainly said it was.
Anyway, just had me worried, so tonight is nice n frosty here, D3 stone cold, just been out in it, took it up my hill and let the TDV6 labour, then booted it. No Smoke, No fault. Took it for a further drive and all seems well, all warmed up and was ok.
BUT
Aint used it since last Wednesday 11th, so over a week of no use, but when I did it was well and truly salty on the roads to Yeovil, anyhow I digress, The poxy EPB stuck on the N/S, so I tried a little more oomph and it released, braking for the next few miles was wobbly but now cleared and brakes fine.
Mine seems now to be suffering through lack of use, any ways to ensure the EPB does'nt stick in the future

I canny Glynne, the hill I park on is very steep, used to just leave SWMBO's TD5 in park when it was mine and naffed up the torque converter over months of doing it. I know there is an emergency release cable under the trim, but was wondering if there was preventative measures.
Anyway, using the D3 every day next week to Sittingbourne as am working till 8pm Wednesday , pre-book a spot then Glynne

Parents live there, so may well see you. Where do you work then, and what truck do you drive, so I can keep my eyes peeled

Hate to say it Ronp but it sounds like what I had. Turbo! Take it and have the fault codes read and I hope you're still in warranty - £2000 job. Mine restarted and ran OK several times and then would fail just like yours (this turbo is a sophisticated beast - all sorts of electrics in it - not like the old days) - no acceleration, engine warning light - then run again OK for a while, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours and then back to square one - not funny when it happens in lane 3 of the M4 - ask me how I know.
Hope I'm wrong

Out in vehicle today.
110 start this morning with no warning messages.
Used it, booted it, went up steep hills and no problems whatsoever.
But will take it to dealer to have fault codes read.

Engine system fault = Turbo
Best to get the faults checked first though. My money is on the faults being P032D, P2299 and/or P0132
Everyone i have seen with system fault on the dash has required a new turbo...
There is a tech. bulletin for these faults, which basically says clear the faults and road test, if it re-occurs and the above fault return, the turbo should be replaced...

Yep guys you were right [unfortunately for me]!!!
It's the TURBO!!!!
Car in Dealer today who just phoned to announce the bad news!
And, they're on back order from Land Rover with no date for supply as yet!
And it's out of warranty, but checking to see if the aftermarket Warranties Direct warranty will cover it.
Chances are they'll wriggle out of it as usual.
Happy new year ? ..........sod it!
