| Is my factory fitted Bluetooth PTI working correctly? |

It will let me pair more than one phone, but if two phones are in range when the ignition is switched on, it only 'attaches' to one of them. The other phone is ignored.
My understanding of the how the system should work is as follows:
1) Multiple phones (upto 8?) can be paired and attached at the same time.
2) Incoming calls to any attached phone can be answered 'hands free’.
3) Outbound calls will be made via the first phone that attached.
Is my understanding incorrect or is my PTI faulty?

Bluetooth will pair with many but can only connect with one at a time
If many units are in range it will choose the last unit it connected with in preference to all the others
So it would appear all is well
You cant leave all eight on and expect it to choose the one that is ringing
