Hi All,
Still exploring with my D4 at the moment.
So, its a MY2010 it has the curly iPod lead which is great, but it does not charge my Nano (G6) or my iPhone (4s or 5 with adapter). I was sort of surprised by this?
Could it be a faulty lead? Faulty connection, or even some other issue?
Any help appreciated.
KR

Hiya Wiggs
Yes, it's an original LR lead, and also a Apple adapter too.
I think it's the LR lead rather than anything else. I have managed to find in the bottom of a drawer a schosce adapter which has done the trick for the iPod, but have not tried the iPhone 5 with adapter yet.

So are they all meant to be supplied with a lead? Including MY12? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The lead was an optional extra when new and you shouldn't need it on a MY12 Cheers Ian

On MY 12 it is a standard USB cable, trouble I found using the normal cable is it doesn't retract or anything so you have to fold away, I found a cheap curly lead (although still a little long) on ebay for a couple of quid. Other answer would be a shorter lead. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Rich,
Take a look at this thread: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic70501.html
Any model before MY11 possibly requires a new socket - not lead. The part number for the socket is LR021802.
Cheers,
Rob
