With Discount like that (£300) it has to be worth a punt at £24.49, you can then report back to everyone on how you find it

Is your mate up for a deal outside of the bay to avoid the fees for a mate? HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Guy fitted one in his D3 and rather liked it - see here. I've plumped for one, as I found a 10% off ebay voucher. Might be here in time for the Yeovil Area Meet on Thursday.
There's no mention of later model compatibility, so you may find that an iPhone will have to be put into 'Airplane mode' else the intermittent communication between it and neighbouring network towers will be audible. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Well I received a reply. Very prompt. Well impressed. BUT the mail said this
Also, as an aside, if anyone was interested in doing a bulk buy of them on the forum I could deliver one lot of 50 units to one person for £870.00 including VAT which might make for an interesting bit of forum fun?
Can we raise this sort of response to take the deal? It works out at 17 1/2 quid a piece. So if we can get those sort of numbers then something could be sorted.
Over to you....... HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

I would be interested at that price, however (and it would probably need Martin's approval) would it not be better to make it £20 including £2.60 forum contribution Just to keep everyone sweet
edit: I only want 1, not all 50 - someone is bound to try and be clever I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I've PM'd Martin to see what he thinks.
I don't require 1 as I had already purchased before Julian came up with this deal. I expect it would make more sense for someone more central to be the delivery point as well. HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

By the time Martin's taken his cut you might as well buy direct
Half joking, if he makes £130 perhaps he could front the £870 to get it going though
I really wanted the version 2 of the drive + play seemed ideal for Disco as its wireless and there is line out on the cigarette lighter part that powers the iPod, also supports later models. They seem to have been discontinued though

Turned up this morning, having been ordered on Sunday night. With so many bits, I think I'll wait for the weekend before attempting installation. I'd suspect it's easier to get the LR unit if you want steering wheel button control, but £25 versus £150 made the choice easy.
FWIW, it has an Aux input on the 'brain' unit, so can be fitted to allow the use of other audio devices. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
