iPhone Connection Issues
Hello,
Used to have a problem where the first call of the day (incoming or outgoing) randomly didn't have any audio.
Just upgraded the iPhone firmware from 2.1 to 2.2 and it appears to have fixed it... so far.
Anyone else recognise this fix?

Both - incoming and outgoing.
Been using it a lot all weekend and not had a problem yet. TBH I was so sick of messing about with it, that recently I'd changed to using the headphones/mic, so I'm really pleased it now works!2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Is there anyway you can use just the favourites rather than the whole contacts list trying to be copied? In the Fl2 it only seems to copy either end of the list (a few hundred in total)DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

iPhone phone book?
Hi,
Been trying to connect my 3G iPhone (software v2.2) to my '56 Discovery 3 HSE. Calls to/from vehicle work OK, but the phonebook (contacts?) on the iPhone are not accessible by the vehicle, so I either have to use the (unreliable) voice dialling, or type in the number on the vehicle audio control panel - not ideal!
Also, call recipients report a very 'tinny', Dalek-type voice from vehicle microphone. Can anyone throw any light on these two problems? Thanks.

Hi
Cannot throw any real light other than to say I have no problems with my 55 HSE and my iPhone 3G.
I can dial using the address book fine.
I did see a few posts just after I got my car which makes me think mine may have had a Bluetooth firmware upgrade, the car that is not the iPhone as other people with slightly newer cars than me were having problems I have not seen!

Anyone getting weird issues with firmware 2.2.1?
Had one connection issue like the old one. Also had occasional instances with a loud low pitched digital bleep (a little like someone holding down a button at the other end of the phone)...

Only find my iPhone doesn't like connecting with car (D3 or Jazz) if it had either another phone connected or the iPhone had connected to another car! I find best way to force a connection is delete the "Land Rover" pairing and re-pair. Gonna be fun when we are a 2 x D3 family!!
