iPhone 13 Not Automatically Connecting to Bluetooth |
|
In upgrading from an iPhone X to an iPhone 13 Pro Max I find that while it can be paired with the Bluetooth on the vehicle (D3 MY2006) the problem is that the phone and the vehicle have to be paired again every time the vehicle's ignition is turned on. This is not an issue that that was encountered with previous iPhones.
In searching the internet I find that this is a common problem that numerous people have encountered with a variety of different vehicles see https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253233263
Has anyone who has an iPhone 13 come up with a solution to this problem and if so what is it?

I had this issue when I upgraded to my iPhone 12. I solved it by updating the Bluetooth ecu with my IID tool. If you don’t have an IID tool there is a member on the forum called Wiggs who does an ecu exchange

Having searched on the internet I am now coming round to the view that the problem is caused by iOS 15.3.1 (which was installed when the phone was being set up) rather than it being an iPhone 13 Pro Max problem.
