It attaches to the passanger seat rail, then a long to double ball to long arm. Unfortunately I've no pics of my setup.
This sort of thing but longer arms, attached to Ray's ball and with ipad tray at top.

Does the RAM mount (linked in my first post) not connect straight to the seat rail anyway?

My set up, the bottom fixes in the ball on the seat rail. Put ipad nicely beside my iPhone mount.
