Intermittent ABS HDC fault. Any ideas?

Hi all,

SWMBO has encountered a fault a couple of times when warning lights come on and she says messages about the ABS and HDC are displayed. However they soon turn off too.

I’ve checked faults with IID but strangely, non are registered.

Any ideas??

Low battery can start to give random errors, that would be my first port of call!

I had these msgs and more last week. Car also was trying to creep forward whilst on foot brake. Went away after stopping and restarting the car.

Had an idea of what it was but only really proved it driving SWMBO's VX ... worn out trainers slipping on pedals, not enough to feel wrong but just enough to catch accelerator as well as brake!

Yup, embarrassing but I've fessed up anyway.

So you might need to get SWMBO a new pair of shoes Laughing
