| Interior mirror surround removal MY15 |

Trying to remove the mirror surround in my MY15.
Had a look at the photos in the Blackvue installation guide by amazing, the surround seems to have a split at the front and another at the back.
Mine only has the vertical front split and does not want to prise apart - easily.
Hole too small to get my finger in as in the pic, is it just a case of a bit more force? usually end up breaking stuff like this. 2015 D4 HSE in Corris Grey

You were right.
There are some delicate retention tabs on the joint line, can't help but feel that something needs to be poked into the split to release them but you can't really see where they are until the surround separates.
Think a couple of mine broke but it's gone back together OK.  2015 D4 HSE in Corris Grey
