Intercooler pipe split

Hi all, I was over the Lake District at the weekend and when driving up a very steep pass on road, the car kept dying out. I ended up in 1st gear to get up. After further investigation I have found that the intercooler pipe is split on the drivers side. Does anyone know the cost of replacing the pipe. Would it be an easy DIY job? The bottom end looks as if it may be a pain to reach. I was made redundant last month so I need to try and keep costs down as much as possible.

I'm pretty sure a new pipe only costs around 40 quid and from what I can gather, replacement is relatively straightforward and not a problem to do yourself Thumbs Up

Kev , easy peasy mate Thumbs Up

There is an access panel held on with I think 4 plastic fasteners. Just pop the middle bit out and remove panel then you can easily get to the hose clip Thumbs Up

Retrieve hose from the top Very Happy

Changed the pipe yesterday without any problems. I am going to change the clips for the cover that needed to be removed, under the arch as they are a bit worse for wear, after I removed them. Thanks again for your help.
