insurance renewal

its that time of year. Ho ho ho, insurance renewal due on 23rd! Can anyone advise on a good company to try, my d3 is standard but i am looking to fit a winch in the new year. The renewal is 660 with admiral. Struggling to get anything lower than 550. I have full no claims so should be straight forward.

Ideas gratefully recieved, i have tried direct line tesco, lancaster, adrian flux, go compare.

I found swift cover far cheaper than anyone else.

I paid about £330 in October with Admiral. Fully Comp with business usage - full no claims, me and the wife, no points or claims between us.

Try LV - mines less than £400 - or you could try Adrian Flux or NFU, though not always cheapest, but do cover for off road use I believe Thumbs Up

L.V for me @less than £350 via Go Compare after 12 years of Adrian Flux - admitted to me that at the moment they are struggling to be competitive Shocked

If using the comparison site just watch out when you are redirected to the insurer.....I found a mysterious £12 suddenly apeared Evil or Very Mad

Rural area, garaged overnight Whistle

NFU for me every time, £385 fully comp, (less than the road tax Evil or Very Mad ) protected bonus, off-road use, etc.
Excellent service and no hassle or quibbles during a recent claim.

Just had my renewal through from Kwik fit and saw it had nearly doubled to £600 despite no claims made etc. Went on a comparison site and they found me one for £310 and guess who with - Kwik fit. I then rang Kwik fit direct and they managed to renew me for this amount, cheating swines !!!! Shocked
