I am thinking of buying a Renault trafic van for my business.
Sooo I went online for an insurance quote and I nearly died when I saw some of them. The cheapest being £1343.00 and the most expensive being £3368.00.
I made one claim 2 years ago, this was when the complete exhaust system was stolen off my Mercedes Sprinter van so the value of this claim was £2500.00. I had 3 points on my licence in 2010 for doing 34 in a 30mph zone. Oh and i live in Liverpool.
I had never made a claim before the one in 2013 so thats 35 claim free years yet im being penalised for other peoples mistakes or spurious claims   I can sympathise to some degree with people who drive without insurance. There are people who want insurance but cant afford it and they need a vehicle for their job. i dont condone it but it must be difficult for them
