Just for reference - quote from Direct Line of £513 for cheshire post code but no off road cover - doesn't seem too bad. They happily added accessories at no cost but weren't too happy about a remap but estimated extra £120 if I took it up 
Next is road tax - then seat surgeons - then first service - offers (above 50p) for the wife please

£470 via Adrian Flux (Royal & Sun Alliance, business use, protected no-claims policy), Birmingham postcode, no charge (just notify them) of mods (mine has 20" stormer alloys on it), plus 1% of policy price extra for very 1% of BHP increased if remapped.

Tin hats on for the SK boys (me included!)  The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.
