Land Rover is offering England fans an experience that goes beyond anything you’d usually expect on match day.
Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to watch a match at Twickenham in the RBS Six Nations. You’ll be chauffeur-driven to and from the home of English rugby, and treated to a complimentary lunch in the exclusive ‘Spirit of Rugby’ hospitality suite.
With opposition including Wales and Ireland, you can expect to witness the sort of ‘go beyond’ spirit you’d enjoy from Land Rover.
I guess they have been on a customer alienation course then
I've no wish to start a nationalistic rant, or a rugby rant. Suffice to say, I'm sure if they offered something to Liverpool fans then the Man U people would be equally unimpressed The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

bit touchy JMC
Scotland are in the six nations also although I can see why LR isnt giving tickets to see them as who would want them ?
I think it can also be seen as complimentary to both Scotland and Wales - meaning England will have to do something special to beat these teams. I'm sure if England were playing the other 3 nations in the 6 Nations at home it would be similar wording.Loving the power of the TDV8!
My point is one of a potentially flawed marketing strategy and poor customer relations - not specifically about the sport.
The e-mail specifically addresses England fans. I'm sure if it offered Catholics a trip to see the Pope then the rest of our so called 'culture' would be up in arms. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

They only sponsor one of the British nations team though don't they.....?Bodsys Brake Bible
Yes it's all about the sponsorship - and England tickets are difficult to get (Although over the last 2 years as a debenture holder I'm being offered extras which hasn't happened previously)Loving the power of the TDV8!

It would have been more insulting if they had offered football tickets

JMC,
I think it's a fair email. To be honest they say:
With opposition including Wales and Ireland
It's pretty fair, Scotland aren't much of an "opposition" so all things considered I think it's a fair an accurate piece of marketing.

Might be a condition of ticket sales that they go to home support. Maybe that area of the ground is only for England team support. Be surpised tho as crowd segregation isn't usually enforced at 6 nations matches.
Probaby just that they don't want a load of Jocks, Paddys, Taffys, Eyeties or Frogs in their 'Spirit of Rugby' hospitality suite.
