What's that then? Never ever seen that at any Rugby game. I for one would be very upset if it ever happened.

Since I appear to have missed-out on the axe-grinding here at disco3.co.uk, I've decided to make waves and up-the-ante with the Marketing Director at LR instead..........

Dare I suggest that perhaps you should be more careful about your marketing strategy…….

Is ‘UK’ customer alienation the latest method for TaTa establishing a rationale for moving manufacturing to India?

You are Land Rover UK……. NOT Land Rover (England) Ltd.

I’m sure that there are other Scottish, Welsh and Irish supporters of the LR brand who feel ‘forgotten’ here.

I did live about 5 minutes from Twickenham for a few years, even visited the stadium on business a couple of times.

No you may not. Now get back on your side of the wall and don't forget to leave the keys to the oil reserves.

To be fair to the other nations, they arn't offering tickets for the Scottish Opposition, as IIRC that match is at Murrayfield this year.

But it isn't great targetting, as I presume they have your home address on their database in order to have your email address?

I thought we had had all the oil and it was time to cut the place adrift and allow it to sink before we end up giving some of the money back. Thumbs Up

Thank you Craig Bow down

First person to avoid the 'ribbing' and see the point of my initial post. Thumbs Up

Hassle - Feel free to cut us adrift...... I know exactly which area is going to sink beneath the waves first...... and the flood barrier won't help them if we aren't propping them up Mr. Green

To be fair though it's promoting a team they sponsor. It would be the same as me complaining they only offer rugby tickets and not womens netball. It's just about a day out, not supporting a team.

A large chunk of the customers in the UK are not English, whether they live in Wales, Scotland or England, so a geographical location is not really a good indicator. It would be like assuming I am english as I live in England or that you are Scottish as you live in Scotland.

By the way Land Rover Scotland also sponsor Scotland Rugby.

EDIT: Personally I think sponsporing womens netball or volley ball would be more universally welcomed anyway.

You see with the that sport you don't care what the team is, universal appeal. That's the key to marketing, stick it in your letter Thumbs Up
