I've got a very annoying vibrating rattle between 50-60mph and am trying to locate the source. I've taped the external a pillar trim and no different. I've removed the internal a pillar trim and no different. Now I want to remove the dash trim which contains the air vent and light switch unit. Do I just pull it off with force or is there a technique?
Thanks

I struggled to locate an annoying rattle for quite a while - I was convinced it was around the dashboard or transmission tunnel area - until I realised that it stopped when I opened the sunroof - it was the sunroof blind!
Might be worth investigating before you start on the trim? (BTW the only fix I have discovered is to keep the blind open )2010 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand on GY DTs (was on GG ATs)
Thanks for the reply. I don't have a sunroof so I can eliminate that one. The more I listen an try to locate it I think it's coming from the steering column/ inner dash

Sound thinking on the sunroof front - not worth having - small, ineffectual & noisy!
Good luck locating the noise 2010 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand on GY DTs (was on GG ATs)
Brute force worked. I'm now thinking the noise is coming from the door area. Anyone any guidance on removing the tweeter panel on top of the door, the window controls and the door card itself?
Still got this vibration/rattle. Predominant between 50-60mph though occasionally appears at other speeds. Possible culprits are the well worn GG AT's though swapping front to back and side to side makes no difference despite slightly different tread wear/depths.
Door card removal made no difference. Removal of inner door seal makes no difference. H trim and light switch trim removed and no different. Thinking to remove airbag and try driving (if I can??) and remove instrument cluster. Any guides to cluster removal?
