Installing center-console cooler

Has anyone installed a center console cooler to a Disco 3/LR3 that wasn't originally equipped with one?

Thinking of trying to put one from a damaged vehicle in my 2006 SE.

Take your centre console apart and look for a connector like this:


If you've got one then it should be very easy to retrofit the cooler. The cooler slides down into the hole and is attached in place by just two torx screws at the top (also visible in the photo).

For getting the centre console apart, I compiled instructions from various posts by others on this site:
