Ins with offroading and Remap??

Renewal time!! Trying to see who does D3s with offroad cover and remap. NFU are happy with remap but not organised offroading events, LR Ins have "offroad cover" but won't touch any mods that increase performance. Anyone know a company that will do both. Going through Adrian Flux quote system at the mo so will see what they do.

Any pointers peeps??

NFU told me I was covered off-road as long as it was not an organised rally/racing or such like. Simply driving along with a group of D3 friends should be fine?

Im with Land Rover they told me and confirmed it in their policy document they do not cover offriading at an organised event. They where happy with my mods but that us only sump guard and oversize tyres. But they are not covered in the insurance

Adrian flux were £300 cheaper than nFU for my recent renewal. Included my mods but I don't have a remap.

Sureterm classed a mod as anything different from when it left the factory, including accessories! Worked from front to rear and it was quite a list!

Methley, wifey at the branch of NFU we desk with was emphatic, follow my leader round a track or quarry would be classed as a track day (offroad track as opposed to racing track) so no joy. It's not the car risk, it's the 3rd party risk in case I squished one if you peeps! Big Cry

NFU are cool with mods and offroad cover, just not organised events, i.e. ones organised by affiliated MSA clubs for trials or competition.

Finally getting there!! Once spoken to NFU re what offroading they accept, we're cushty!! Smile they are also happy with the remap and they cover Tooooooonesia (well maybe not at the mo) or Morocco on 3rd party only. Adrian Flux/Equity Red Star don't. Rolling Eyes Prices similar to LRIns, though cover is the important thing!

Might treat myself to a Chineseie tonight, it's been a long day. Smile

Presumably you're referring to the current LR Ins provider, not the original (RSA) one? The End
