injector torque settings

injector torque settings

I have a chuffing noise coming fro drivers side engine bay, evidence of gunk around middle injector. Will do a bubble test when it stops raining! But almost certain now its a copper seal blowing. Will call in at mersey landrover today and pick up some seals.
is there a torque setting for the nuts holding the injector in place?
if anyone has looed at my first blog about the engine fire. I had Work done on the engine while I was down in Cornwall. Injectors on that side were taken out so it could be related to that! They dont just normally blow. Not knocking the garage,they got me home!
Bodsy sorted the egr patch yesterday! She doesnt "limp" anymore!

Thanks for the information!
I thought I could just pick up a few seals (copper washers) but they are different for each injector! And only come as part of a kit £25 per injector. Will find out which one is leaking first.
surely the seals are the same?

Torque Settings Doc

Hi, possibly a daft question but are the torque settings specified in the following doc http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...v__2_0.pdf the same as for the 2.7 TDV6 generally? It's just that I noticed this was specifically for the 3.0L and thought I'd better just check before I go tightening!!!

the 'kit' includes the fuel feed pipe which is why they are expensive and different for each injector Thumbs Up
