infuriating intermittent wipe |

how do you turn off the rain sensor/speed sensor on the intermittent-wipe portion of the wiper stalk. There's no rhyme or reason to the thing. I'd like to have the speed/interval controlled soley by the increment postion I set it to manually.
At the moment on my 'Tiny' it seems controlled by an idiot gremlin sat in the spare wheel bay looking backwards at the passing tarmac to see if it's wet ...

On mine once you set it to max it ignores the rain sensor, seemingly. It all depends on the type of rain that is falling
Sometimes it works very well.... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
