Anyone had any experience of inflatable awnings ?, I've got full size Isabella awning but am considering one for short stays , just ease of putting up etc

We sell the Kampa Air range in our shop. They are very good and take under 5 mins to erect.  Rich

We've got a big Vango Air Beam tent. Turn up peg it down, pump it up job done, no messing about with poles. We were told by the dealer to make sure it wasn't pumped too much as in the summer it's possible to burst them when the it gets hot. The pump does have a pressure regulator. Like many things people are worried by new ideas. IID PRO

We've got a SunnCamp 280 Air.
Whilst not quite as well made as the Kampa, but it comes complete with pump etc and at less than 1/2 the price it was a bargain. Up in seconds, no heavy poles to carry or dent the panels We use the inflatable 'storm bar' accessories to provide extra rigidity.
It's been up in some pretty strong wind (enough to tear a peg ladder from its stitching) without any real issues - certainly much much better than our old Fiammma and nowhere near the faff of a full size awning.
That said, horses for courses, I still have my big'un for longer stays like our family french trips etc.

I'm liking the look of the site also, I lived in Weymouth for a number of years, maybe I could bring the van down and stay and that would save on postage

We certainly are impressed with the Kampa Air awnings. One plus point is that you only have one point of inflation, so they are very quick to blow up. About a minute for the 260 we have on display in the shop. I gather some others have many more valves, making it more of a hassle to keep swapping over. But the best thing would be to read other reviews. There is quite a backlog of orders at the moment, so we are lucky to have stock. Of course your more than welcome to come and stay at the park. Rich

We have just bought a new isabella 250 coal porch awning instead of a air awning because the air awnings have too many guide ropes to be attached, with grand kids and dog to many fall over obstacles. Air awnings are suppose to be very good, personnel choice really
