Independent in Kent - Any recommendations?
Firstly I would like to wish a happy, healthy and prosperous new year to all forum members and their families and friends.
I'm preparing for the inevitable work that will be needed on my D4 as it is now over 4 1/2 years old. I have a final main dealer service in May on my 5 year service plan but following that I want to establish a good relationship with someone I can really trust. I'm prepared to travel through Kent to get to someone I can really trust.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Exactly what I was looking for.
I did ring the Discovery garage, who are local to me, about my sun roof drain and they were hadn’t heard of the problem. I’m thinking, good if you wanted brake pads changed but probably not for more complex stuff?
I rang RCV once’s about something, but never rec’d a callback which was a bit annoying.
Once again much appreciated. A recommendation from people on here is such a valuable thing.
Cheers

Appreciate you sharing your 'gems' ! Thanks again.
Yes Inigo I always try to follow up any posts with an outcome/experience/lesssons learnt etc. It's what makes this forum useful. Have nothing specific planned but know I will in the not too distant future and didn't want to have to start asking when I desperately need to find someone.
CheersGary

All jokes aside Gary you won’t go wrong with AHL.
Trust me, I don’t think I could recommend any other company that I’ve been this happy with, which is a sad state of affairs and that’s not only in the motor trade

Thanks guys. Can’t ask for anymore of a recommendation than that. Sounds like I should book some random slots during the year in order to get in on the basis that something is bound to go wrong.
CheersGary
