Independant Land rover specialists Ireland |
|
Folks,
Does anybody now of any independant LR specialists in Ireland, north or south? I have a few problems with the D3 that the dealer and local mechanic cannot seem to solve. The first is the suspension all four of the abs sensors have been changed as well as the brake sensor cable plus brake pads and there are still fault lights showing no HDC, terrain response, no suspension. The diagnostics did not show any problems either. Also the steering has developed a problem in that whilst turning the wheel to the right it seems to be heavy for a part then back to normal, turning left no problem. This is the problem i need to sort out asap as I was going around a roundabout today and the steering felt as if it was locking up
Apologies if i am recovering old ground, but i am getting slightly frustrated and i dont want to paying stealer prices.
Last point, has anyone ever powerwashed the D3 engine? If so any tips/hints?
Thanks, much appreciated.

Try Trillick Land rover near Dromore, Co. Tyrone. I have no connection to them but got D3 rear discs/pads for a very good price. They do servicing also. Another option is King 4X4 in Wicklow again no connection.

Another option is JLS LandRover in Coleraine. Only delt with them on the phone and they where very helpful.
You have BLRC in Bangor they run a similar operation to Trillick.
Hope this helps.
