I bought a 2nd hand 6 CD radio to replace my US spec radio that only pics up odd number frequencies as LR UK told me it wasnt possible to change the system. Turned out not to be true and another dealer kindly reprogrammed it for me. So now i have a radio for sale.
If you dont get it fixed give me a shout

The radio can be taken out, dismantled & the carriage reset into the correct position, sounds like it is stuck, possibly with a disc stuck in the mechansim.
I have done a few now, although mostly for displaying 'disc error' & not accepting discs.
Regards
Steve

Hi all thanks for replies and help- how much do you want for stereo ian? and how easy is it to remove? My local radio specialist said it would have to go away for repair(3 WEEKS!!) and would leave various things not working?
He also said that t isn`t possble to fit a different type of system due to harmon kardon and fibre optics? Is this right anyone?
Thanks again?

sorry kelv, dont know the answer to you question but just thought this thread was an op for me to ask about my stereo. its th HK premium 6 disc. When i listen to a cd everything is fine but if i switch to the radio the cd keeps playin. Now i dont mean out loud but if i switch back to the cd the same song is on but it plays instantly and is as far into the song like you have listened to it.
For eg. if at the start of a song on the cd i changed to radio then about 2-3 mins later put the cd back on it'd be at the end of the song, i can even hear the cd's change when it gets to the last track on the cd. It will just keep going.
Is this right? Is it meant to do this?
Also while im on the stereo. I only get music playback through my passenger side speakers when i plug an mp3 into the aux. It aint the cable. has anyone else had this problem? Current: D3 commercial
Past: but not forgotten D3 HSE x2, 5 TD5 disco2's, 1 200tdi disco1, 2 300tdi disco1 one of which was a commercial, Off roader with a rather large spec, ARB's and big travel suspension to name a few.
Pajero SWB 2.8 for off road playdays
