A Freelander, not the 2 but a secondhand Diesel L series with 92,000 on the clock.

We own an 04 Freelander V6 petrol with 97,000 Km on the clock and running like a dream. Not a bad car *providing it's used on paved roads*. Recently though, we've been having starting problems which noone's willing to fix for some reason!!!
My biggest problem with the car is the interior space. I'm 6ft so the leg and head room are quite restricted.

From my own personal experience with cars, NOTHING matches the D3 in all aspects. Bow down

I've had an 02 FL2 Diesel van, the one with the BMW engine for a while now. Bought it as an ex Orange vehicle which had done just over 100k. It was a proper LR Special Vehicles fit out.

Dont coming upto 130k now and all I've needed to have done was the rubber turbo pipe a week after I bought it. Shame it doesnt have a low box but great little vehicle all the same.

Roll on the summer when the back can be unclipped and taken off!

yeah, great vehicles. This one has now replaced the Ford Maverick LWB 2.4i job, she was a bit tired and needed lots to get her through MOT so we bought the Freelander. Another reason was the dog had a stroke and cant jump into the big vehicles at the moment, and SWMBO cant lift Billy dog in and out.

Having had Discos for last 10 yrs and not had a little car for years its easy to forget how convenient for just running to shops and currys etc little cars are.

Andy.
