I'm not a green laner but is this sensible ?
I was taking the dogs out for a walk along one of our country tracks.
Coming from one track, across a road onto the track I was on were 3 discos and 1 land cruiser
The final disco had a kid ( looked about 12 or 13) sat on the top of a roof box of some sorts. The trees and not over hanging too much so no danger of getting hit but the lane they were on has ruts and would make the cars tip from side to side
This cannot be safe/sensible practice can it ?D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

I don't think you need any of us to answer that question If it is a legal green lane then they have to abide by the rules of the road.Cheers Ian

Hairy Dan got it spot on. They should still be sticking to the rules of the road.Lee

I've fond memories of riding on the roof rack of my friends Dads LR around their farm and also the lanes. Aged about 10 it was very exciting.
That would have been pre "Health and Safety", in the early 1970's.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

My kids often sit on my buses expo rack at campsites and across fields near home. They love it and if you're sensible its great fun.
Whilst doing it on a green lane might not be correct, I can understand why. Life is about living, having experiences and fun.

Out of interest was there a red D2 and black D1 in the group, both with full expo style racks?GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics
