Discodad - just a small word of advice if I'm not too late. I doubt the best deal is done through the dealer re finance. The best they usually offer is 9.9% you can get a lot better through a finance broker. There is one that supports this site if you want the details.Loving the power of the TDV8!
Thanks for the advice, I have already checked out the finance guy and forwarded it on to my partner for her deliberation. (She works in pensions don't you know)
Any further advice/experiences of this nature will be much appreciated.
Cheers. Back in the game!

Can be done - I got low 7% APR through the dealer and that was with a balloon.
Original quote at local dealer was high 9% though.
Fatal!

BTW, I experienced what I now know to be what D3 owners call the 'permagrin' about 3 minutes into the test drive!
The permagrin continues to spread to parts known and unknown!

DiscoDad......
Have sent you a PM. Great post at the start of this thread - made me LOL!
I just went in for a test drive as I thought I might like a D3 sometime in the future. Knew I was in something special before I left the carpark on the testdrive and had a brand new one by the end of the week!
Thanks to all who sent me PMs regarding my future purchase. Still havn't made my mind up whether to buy new or go for a low mileage '05 or '55 plate. (It goes through me when I figure that the car is devalued by about £5k as soon as it is registered)!
Looking at a SE or HSE Bonatti Grey/Java Black with privacy glass.
