IID Useful Screens
Just wondering what other peeps have set up for IID BT screens.
Got these 2 set up.
General running screen for additional temp info. If I'm doing a longhaul I tend to just leave it in background on the iDog&Bone, just flick to it when I remember

Engine speed can be changed in the second screen as it is already displayed in the top right corner It can when others can't,

True, forget that was a change in the last update. Just got to think of a useful alternative.

Is it ok to have it running all the time then, and the IID tool connected for as long as you want?

Thats strange. I have this installed on an android phone, firstly i cannot see speed and voltage at the top of the screen when displaying live values, and secondly when i come to save the favorite items it doesnt list any live values to select. Any ideas?
Forgot to say, updated to latest firmware, the voltage and speed is selectable from one of the front screens under IID config, which is selected yes.

GAP do not recommend it, in fact they advise against, quote "the Iid tool is not designed to connected permanently".It can when others can't,

Aside from fault-finding test drives I do not consider it wise to have a bidirectional diagnostic tool connected whilst driving. A number of systems on the CANBUS are safety critical and their integrity level is compromised when a diagnostic tool is on the network.
