IID Tool Reading X-mas tree faults special programs off, HDC

I have not found the root cause of all my D3 faults yet. The list is long and it all reads "lost communication" Battery and alternator tested OK. Bulbs and break light switch changed. All the usual suspects were investigated. Today F error message again and up into limp mode.

Whilst crawling ahead in traffic jam doing stop & go I read the live values of the transfer case.

The voltage of the motor says 0 volt, all others show some life. Does the motor need to show some value for the voltage?

Any suggestion what else to check. It has the active lock / ediff. But on the 4x4 screen it will not show the red sign when going in rock crawl / low settings. Can it be the motor on top of the diff?

NO BUMP!

Problem found and lesson learned.

Since my last post I looked at the EPB module, all wiring around the spare wheel, checked the connections of the wheel speed sensors....

I then remembered one of DMs post saying in some cases the fuel filter might cause some unexpected trouble like Mine. Since I had one OEM filter in my spare parts case I replaced the filter. Possibly the car was run down to the last drop of diesel and clogged the filter?

All fault codes have disappeared since the replacement.

This car drives me bananas Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Faults are coming up every other day, mostly when going uphill or turning into a parking space.
