IID tool ordered now what about the charger? advice please

Hi Guys,

So I've finally ordered a IID BT through the great forum offer - Cheers Disco Mikey

I've read that most people recommend the CTEK 25 for use while flashing etc.... so my question is, do I keep hold of my old Sealey 30/1 30amp charger or will the CTEK do what this does and more so I can send it to the bay

Read the manual and it doesn't mention anything about a supply mode

Only big updates need an external supply when using an IID tool. Unless you mess for a long time.

Are you going to be doing a lot of 'flashing' lordackers ?

I plan to use a ctek Mxs10 which has a supply mode, or if that isn't enough, hook some jump leads up to SWMBO's vehicle, this isn't something that would need to be done that often is it ?

No I guess not, I just like to have the right kit when i do stuff, could just go with a spare battery and jump leads to start with and see how I go?

Just wondered if the CTEK would be a good replacement for the sealey so I would just have one all in charger?
