IID Tool Opening & Closing Rear Cross Over Valve

Morning,

I'm trying to test my rear cross over valve. Whenever I watch the live valve in the IID tool it 0%. If i try to change it through Control I/O, RLM Suspension, Rear Cross Over Valve, Modify, any percentage i set it to open to fails.

Is there another way to do it or do i have a problem?

Reason i'm asking is I've over inflated one rear corner & want to see the crossover valve work as it should to restore a balanced height across the axle. I have a suspicion I have a problem with it sticking.

There doesn't seem to be much mention of this in section 4.9 of the IID Tool Manual

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Thanks Geoff,

I was in there raising the corner heights this morning. I'm not sure though how you open & close the cross link valve from there though? The chain link seems to only lock the axle when raising or unlock to allow a single corner to be raised or am i doing something wrong?

the links represent your valves touch the front and it will lock middle and rear then you can just touch which side you want to raise or lower Thumbs Up

Ta, I thought that after I wrote the reply Smile

The thing is, If I clicked the rear chain link to place a red slash in it I take that to mean the valve is closed. I then choose a corner (NSR) & inflate using the arrows. Once inflated I click the chain link again & presume this opens the valve again & i'm expecting the heights across the axle to level by the cross over valve opening & taking the air from the NSR & moving it to the OSR or at the very least removing the air from the NSF to balance it to the height of the OSR but it doesn't. Nothing happens.

Thats whats throwing me?

I wonder if the link is just an IID interface thing.
The fact it has 3 does point to this.

So the raise lower does all rather than a corner.

It may not have anything to do with the cross over valve.

The cross over valve may only be there for safety backup, for when the compressor has overheated.
or the X valve may only be there for when the engine is off to level the axle.

Hi Guys

Sorry for the delay

You are correct, it does not represent the crosslink valves but the axles.

Crosslink valve issue is a known bug, send me a mail if you need to revert the firmware back to test them.

Under normal operation, they will only open when is offroad height.

Cheers
