IID Tool - Gloucester - Help please

Hi,

Does anyone have an IID tool in the Gloucester area that could put the EPB into service / mounting mode? I’ve just repaired the EPB and fitted new cables etc but now the disks won’t fit Crying or Very sad

More than happy to pay for anyone who can just put it in service / mounting mode for me Bow down

You have done the hard part Its most likely the shoes need adjusting theres two adjusters the normal one at the top and the other one shown below behind the shoe. I had a set arrive where this adjuster was not set correctly and i had the same issue, it should look like the picture.

Yeah, I’ve reset the wedge and pushed it as far as it’ll go but the cable seems to have too much tension so the disk just won’t go on. I only threaded the new cable exactly 5 turns like it says.

I though about taking the end cap off the EPB module so the cable will come out and slacken off so I could get the disk on but surely as soon as I put back into the EPB the parking brake will be on fully tight again?
